Biography:
I am Sayvon Lee, and my volleyball journey began in the upstate of South Carolina, where I fell in love with the sport. Growing up, I immersed myself in local tournaments, feeling the thrill of competition and the joy of the game.
Transitioning to college, I dedicated four intense years to playing Club volleyball at the College of Charleston, showcasing my skills as an Outside Hitter. Those collegiate years molded me into the player and person I am today, instilling in me a fierce determination and a deep love for the game.
Even after my college days, my passion for volleyball burns bright. I still actively participate in beach leagues here in Charleston, SC, relishing the sun, sand, and friendly competition that comes with each game.
Beyond the court, I have embraced a new role as a mentor and leader. As I embark on my second year as the head coach of the boys' volleyball team at Academic Magnet High School, I am excited to share my knowledge and passion with the next generation of players. Coaching allows me to not only teach the game but also instill important life lessons and values in my players.
