On Saturday, November 8th, the #2-seeded Academic Magnet defeated #1 Landrum 6-0 in the SCHSL AA Women's Tennis Championships. In doing so, the Raptors claimed back-to-back state titles. This is the 2nd state championship for the women's tennis program. After a first-round bye, the Raptors defeated Johnsonville 6-0, Hannah-Pamplico 6-0, and Philip Simmons 6-0 en route to Saturday's repeat match with the Landrum Cardinals from 2024. On October 11, 2025, the Raptors were named the 2025 SCHSL AAA Women's Swim runner-ups at the state meet at USC's Carolina Natatorium. Magnet's 360.5 team points were only bested by St. Joseph's Catholic School (583 points), who claimed this year's title. Raptors Win SCHSL AAA Men's Swim Championships

The Academic Magnet High School boys’ swimming program has won multiple individual and relay championships at the state meet over the past several years, but hadn’t won a team state title in over a decade. That stretch ended on October 10, 2025, as the Raptors won the South Carolina High School League AAA championship at the University of South Carolina, scoring 512.5 points, rolling past second-place St Joseph's Catholic School (426 points). This is Academic Magnet’s third state title in boys’ swimming, previously winning in 2012 and 2013. The Raptors also had a pair of individual state champions - Parker Hamilton in the 100-yard freestyle (44.37), setting a new school record for this event, and Logan Patterson in the 100-yard backstroke (52.24). The Magnet baseball team was victorious in their Region matchup against Woodland Wolverines. Jose Revuelta pitched a complete game, striking out 6 and allowing only 3 hits. Shored up by a solid defense, and timely hitting, the Raptors broke a tightly contested game open with an 8 run 5th inning. Next game: Thursday March 20th vs. First Baptist (Away)

The Magnet baseball team defeated the Andrews Yellow Jackets Friday night in an extremely competitive 7 inning game. Tyler Heckman and Anson Harrison combined for a gem of an outing from the bump. Cole Ivey touched 'em all with a round tripper to left. The young Raptors scored 3 runs in the top of the 7th to take a 5-3 lead. The defense held, and the Raptors took the second game of this two game series.
